i did it!
On the morning of December 29, 2025, I finally did it. I got Dead God on Isaac!
It took about a year, I started a new save file around Oct 2024.
I got the original Isaac + Wrath of the Lamb on July 11, 2013, got Platinum God on September 21, 2014, and then played Rebirth on launch the same year.
Finally completeing every thing after a whole decade feels crazy. The end of an era for sure but it has made me thing: What now?
Of course there is always the thought of the next two save files but I think I'll be taking a break from regular isaac gameplay quite a while. I tried a few online games for achievements but the lag was kinda a killer for me, I'll probably not try to get all marks in multiplayer any time soon.
Mewgenics will be out next month so I am sure to play it, I haven't look too much into its development but the things I have seen are cool. I have not played The Legend Of Bumbo yet, maybe I'll check it out some time I heard it was pretty short content-wise, not really in a rush for that.
In terms of mods, I dabbled in mods a bit when Afterbirth+ came out but not much. I never played Antibirth when that was big because I was already kinda off from Isaac for that time and I haven't dabbled in any other expansion mods since because I wanted my dead god first.
Playing mods and trying new characters would be cool but what I want to do the most is make my own mod. Specifially a character mod with my gf's oc. Whether or not I can figure it out well we will see. Will definitly post updates here if I get to it.
